I shoot dance because I'm around it constantly — my wife and I run a dance company, and most of what I've learned came from photographing our own rehearsals and shows week after week.

That means I know what a company actually needs from a shoot. Which moment in the phrase is the one worth freezing. Where to stand so I'm not in the audience's way. How to work a dim stage without flattening everyone with flash.

Based in Edina. Available across the metro and for festivals throughout Minnesota.
